Regularly scheduled reviews can reduce the need for disciplinary action and greatly empower both supervisors and the employees they manage. This web seminar will give supervisors specifics for managing both performance reviews and disciplinary encounters fairly and constructively - from thorough preparation and the meeting itself, to adequate documentation and the all-important follow up.

Robert Barr, SPHR, is a Senior Consultant with 26 years of practical and professional management experience in sales and marketing, employee training, human resources, customer service and strategic planning.

As a Business and Management Consultant, Bob brings expertise in Employee Relations, Leadership Development, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Meetings Facilitation and Teambuilding.

His experience as a senior executive in human resources, marketing and operations management provide a blending of these disciplines to create solutions that build strategic alignment within teams and organizations.

Bob is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the American Society of Training and Development and holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Washington and his Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute.

This continuing medical laboratory education activity is recognized by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as meeting the criteria for 1.0 hours of CMLE credit.   ASCP CMLE credit hours are acceptable to meet the continuing education requirements for the ASCP Board of Registry Continuing Competence Recognition Program. This approval does not qualify in California.
