What is an online seminar?

An online seminar is a
"live," web-based training. With an internet connection and a phone line, participate in any of the listed seminars.

There are no set up fees, no travel costs and no down time to and from training.
Members can choose from several times and days to fit their busy schedules.

Web seminar Benefits
• Employers can offer training to employees in multiple locations
simultaneously
• Virtual meetings can be arranged if participants are around the
corner or around the world
• No travel expense and no downtime to and from training and/or to
and from meetings
• There are no set up fees, no monthly fees and no cancellation fees
• Participants from different organizations may attend the same
training or meeting
• Participants may access from a wide range of training topics
• The same topic may be repeated on different days and at different

• Attendance logs, post-training test and completions certificates are available on request
• Where participants don't have access to computers, web based
training can be provided to groups via a projection unit and a laptop or participants can attend the audio portion via phone
• Workshops can be archived for future viewing
• Workshops can be created to meet your specific training needs
• Existing training modules can be converted to web training

Computer Equipment
Web seminars can run on Windows, Solaris and Macintosh systems. See below for exact specifications. An 800x600 resolution or greater monitor is required (1024x768 recommended).

Windows:
• 166Mhz Pentium-based PC, 64 MB RAM
• Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, XP or 2000
• Sun JVM 1.4 or Microsoft VM (included with Windows)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or higher -OR-
• Netscape Navigator 4.5 or higher
Solaris:
• Sun SPARCstation with Solaris 2.5.1, 2.6, 2.7 or 2.8
• Sun JVM 1.4
Macintosh:
• Macintosh OS-X
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1 or higher

Internet Connection
A 56k or faster Internet connection is required.

Phone Line
You need an available phone line to access the audio portion of the presentation. Following registration you will receive an e-mail with a toll-free number to call for the teleconference. This is in addition to any phone line required for your Internet connection.

Handouts
After you register for a CT Consulting web seminar, you will receive an e-mail that will include a web address to log into and a toll free number to call for the audio portion of the session. The web address you are given will take you to a meeting page that you can access prior to the session. On the meeting page, you will find handouts that may be downloaded before the presentation or for up to 30 days afterwards. Also on the meeting page, you can check for messages from the presenter and save the date directly to your Outlook calendar.

Archived Sessions
In your busy schedule, you may have missed one of our recent events. With that in mind, we have archived key sessions for you to review at your convenience. If you are interested in viewing an archived session please contact us for information about accessing these sessions.

Media Players
For viewing recordings or archive presentations, Windows® Media Player™ 6.4 or higher, RealPlayer G2 or RealPlayer 7 or higher are required.
